Hi Angela,
There are two Tristam Hoggs, one is married to a Sarah and the other to Jane Wray. Unfortunately for that period the records only give the father's name.
Anyway here are some possibilities for you.
Hannah baptised 20th May 1750 Newbiggin
Tristam (daughter) bap 1st Dec 1751
George bap 15th Nov 1753
Isabel bap 7th July 1754
Jonathan bap 8th April 1756
Jonas bap 4th March 1757
Martha bap 23rd Aug 1761 burial 6th June 1781.

There is also a John Hogg burial 27th May 1770 son of Tristam and Jane in Littleburn.

You probably already have this but Tristam Hogg married Jane Wray 14th April 1747 Thoralby.

Thanks very much Maggie and many thanks for the offer of further lookups.

I am just exploring some of my WRAY lines from a recently acquired will.
I am after the children of William JACKSON and Elizabeth WRAY (sister of the below Jane) who married in 1726. According to the IGI there were at least 9 children plus 2 more I know of from a will.
Names - George, Jeffrey, Sarah, Alice, Grace, Jonathan, Isabel, Jane, William, Cecily, Elizabeth.
Variously described of Newbiggin or Bishopdale according to the IGI. Someone else has told me of a connection to Thoralby.
Please let me know if this is too much.

William bap 4th Feb 1739 Bishopdale burial 26th Aug 1823 (83)
Alice bap 1st Jan 1738 burial 3rd March 1738 Bishopdale
Alice bap 18th Sept 1742 burial 28th Oct 1742 Bishopdale
Sarah bap 8th March 1743 Bishopdale
Mary bap 24th May 1746 Bishopdale
Jonathan bap 21st April 1748 burial 24th April 1748 Bishopdale

There was a:
Cecily Jackson bap 16th March 1777 Streethouse Newbiggin.
This could be the daughter of William junior and his wife Elizabeth.

I will try and find possible marriages for these children and get back to you with any further info.
