The microfilms are kept at the City Library Family and Local History Centre which at present is in Newcastle Civic Centre Exhibition Hall the films cover 1885 to 2004 or possibly 2002 with some gaps 1921 for some reason is not filmed although bound copies are available for some of the gaps. Asfar as I know there are no plans for these to be available on line . Recent family notices are available on line at the Evening Chronicle web site although what date range they cover I am not sure
