The Christchurch City Co uncial website for cemetery database is
http://librarydata.christchurch.org.nz/cemeteries/
If this doesn't have the information you requirer I can look at the St Paul's Anglican Papanui Records tomorrow Who are you searching for.

Have looked up the St Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery Papanui

Area 2 Row A Plot 19
William STOKES d 22 Feb 1865 age 47
Also Mary 2nd wife of above d 30 Jan 1871 age 54.

Area 2 Row A Plot 20
Sarah wife of William STOKES d 15 Sept 1854
Leaving a husband & 12 children to lament their loss

These are the only Stokes in the cemetery.
Though you would like to know the researcher for the Randolph article is a descendant of John & Sarah WINTER

Hi Wayne

That's fantastic news thankyou very much.  I have already been to the 4 ships webpage and was quite shocked to see how much information on the individual passengers there was.

Thankyou for the Look ups they are great!

I will probably contact the Winter person via the website if he has a contact address.

Many Thanks again Wayne.

Paul

Hi Wayne

I managed to register with one of the sites and I have been in touch with someone who sent me a painting of William Stokes.

Thanks for your help!
