Hi All,
is it possibly to get a death lookup for the following

William Doherty, age 78 to 80 years born Scotland c 1838, wife Margaret McLaughlin (deceased).
28/3/1916 Shankhill, Antrim, Belfast or
16/8/1917 Shankhill, Antrim, Belfast.
Possible street address 7 Scotland Street South, Smithfield, as per 1911 Belfast Census.

If no death lookup available where would I apply for a death cert.
Am open to all suggestions.

Finding this family was my Christmas present after 2 years of searching in all the wrong places.

Regards
Ruth

Going through old posts and found this one - have you already found the information on this family that you were looking for earlier? Since then lots of Irish resources have come online.

You can search Irish Civil Registration Index online (free) and with the index details order a certificate. See Introduction to Irish Records topic for more details but be aware that Irish death certificates provide little information.
