BISA lookup Morris

Hi Sashar,

Can you do a look up for me in the BISA, please?  I have a Henry Morris arr in SA c1850 with wife Elizabeth Bayley and at least 1 daughter Mary. Mary was born c1842 England, supposedly Kent.

Mary went on to to marry George Edward Baker in 1861 and have 14 children.

I hope Sashar doesn't mind but I looked up my bdm discs for SA and I found one child born in South Australia to Henry and Elizabeth. Elizabeth's surname was spelt Bailley.

Adrianne do you have the names of the 14 Baker children.  I have looked them up but if you already have the names I won't repeat the information for you.  Let me know and I can post them if you need them.

You'll probably see that that little girl died only 16 days later

I was wondering whether the BISA would shed any light as to where they were from originally, or when they arrived, or when or where the family made there home etc

Just got your next post. Yes, I have all 14 kids, it's my biggest family so far

I'm sorry I couldn't find you any new information.

However this site lists passengers for almost every ship that came into SA between 1836 - 1851.

I don't know if that would help you to find when they arrived.

Isn't that a great site!

Unfortunately, can't find my lot. There are a couple of Mr and Mrs Morris + children, but...  They can only put what info was originally recorded
