Annie Malcolm Gibson died in Oamaru c. 1973

I believe that she is Annie McFadyen Malcolm born 1898 in Cadder and married to William Lyon Gibson in 1923, in Cadder, Lanarkshire, Scotland. 

The Gibson family almost completely disappeared from Scotland after 1923 and I have long wondered if they ended up in Oamaru where William's brother Andrew Gibson (b. 1879) is known to have farmed, the death of this Annie above is the only 'link' that I have found that may support this theory.

Hi Lindsay,

As far as I'm aware there are no indexes for NZ BDM certificates. You will need to purchase the certificate to discover if she is the one you want.

However, her probate is held at Archives NZ Christchurch office. Filed 14 Sept 1973, Annie Malcolm GIBSON, a widow of Oamaru, died Intestate.

Hi Lindsay

You could try the North Otago Museum for some info about your Gibsons - they have been very helpful to me in the past and have provided cemetery records and death notices/obits from the local newspaper.
