"Octfpill" ?????

I recently found an old vase with the name "Octfpill" England on the bottom....can someone help me out with this please...the spelling on this vase is probably whats throwing me off...I've done a google search and absolutely nothing comes up...Thank you in advance...

If the f becomes an s (thanks Nanny Jan)  - and a space is inserted  oct spill  - someone else has the same query

Could it be a "spill vase" as in

SOunds interesting!  Trish, I looked at the pic of the ones you found, and wonder whether the "Oct" is short for "Octagonal", being as how the vases each have 8 sides.

Need a picture, Gotcha!  :D

Sounds good Prue & combined with BHC's definition, it seems like an eight sided spill vase - obviously above the fireplace with the matching clock   ;D

the description is as follows...
black with pink and silver speckles...over which is red painted leaves...it almost looks like Chinese or Japanese
