Would appreciate help regarding the place name Chadwick near Stockport, this
is regarding a Thomas Kirshaw, Calico Printer in the late 1780's.

Where is Chadwick?

Only place/district I can discover is Chadkirk could  they be the same place.

Have no knowledge of Cheshire so any help would be appreciated.

     Chadkirk is the place name your after, I have not heard of Chadwick nr Stockport, although I think there is a Chadwick Street in Stockport.

It may also be known as Romiley
