I am looking for information regarding the family of Frank Pilkington .
Frank was born 1916 BRADFORD , He married a Beatrice Clarke Besford.
Frank died 7.7.44 while serving as a private with the York and Lancashire regiment , 2nd Bn.
Franks parent were Charles Pilkington ( information please ) mother Ada Mary Pilkington . Living 1 Earls street , Bradford.
siblings of Franks are Jack, Edward, Josephine, Ada, Helen and Florence.
Any information regarding this family would be greatfully received.

You really need to get his birth certificate to ensure you have his mother's maiden name.  That will make it easier to find their marriage which will give you a jump start as it will give their ages and father's names and occupations.

Also whether his siblings were older or younger than him would help give an idea of when the marriage might have taken place.

There is a possible marriage
Charles L Pilkington June qtr 1912 Eccleshall Bierlow Yorkshire 9c 734 to Ada Brearley.

This is the only Frank/Francis Pilkington I can see born in Bradford in 1916:

Francis PILKINGTON - b. Jun Q 1916, Bradford 9b 352 - mother's maiden name DODD.

If he is the right one, this looks like his parents' marriage:

Charles PILKINGTON m. Ada DODD, Dec Q 1895, Salford 8d 176.  (Salford St Stephen)

1901 census:
RG13/3767; Folio 35; Page 57 - 196 Bury New Rd, Manchester
John Pilkington - Head - 30 - French Polisher - Manchester
Ellen Pilkington - Wife - 20 - Manchester
Charles Pilkington - Brother - 25 - French Polisher - Oldham
Ada Pilkington - Sister in law - 25 - Manchester
Edward Pilkington - Nephew - 2 - Manchester

However, as Mary said, you really need Frank's birth cert to be 100% sure!
