Hello

I am looking for a parish register entry for the birth of Robert SMITH.  Born Alford, Lincs, abt. 1818.  I am not sure about the names of his parents.

I think I have identified him living in Market Place, Alford.  He is listed as 20, giving birth date of 1821, but later censuses put him being born around 1818 adn I know there was some rounding of ages in the 1841 census. 

Occupation in 1841 and 1861 was Shepherd.

Alford records should be on the IGI.  Have you looked at www.familysearch.org?   generally the first place to start for pre 1837 baptisms etc but it is not full coverage.
