Bastardy Bonds

I wonder if anyone has access to Bastardy Bonds -  have been unable to find them on film through the LDS.
Would love some more information about a John MOUNCE baptised 15 July 1781 to Mary Mounce at Alwington.
I think this is the same person who married Christian SAUNDERS at Alwington on 31 march 1808.

I'm showing my ignorance here but what exactly are bastardy bonds?   Do they by any chance show the name of a father being pursued by a court?
