I have a birth certificate for a William Toft which I had hoped was that of William Toft who died in 1917 in WW1.  Unfortunately, it is not the certificate I need

Registered: Barton upon Irwell, County of Lancaster 1897

DOB: 1/3/1897
Parents Richard Edward Toft (joiner journeyman) & Alice Toft formerly Potter.
Residence 436 Worsley Road (?), Winton.

All ended up Ardwick, Manchester
