I should think that Lincs Archives are the people to ask

Census Information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

hello Geoff E &Oonagh
thankyou for replying to my message
i had a look at the lincolnshire archives site  before posting my message and it would seem that they
only have holdings for the early 1900's for Guardian minute books etc
though i suppose it is worth trying to email them to enquire if they exist from the 1850's and possibly held elsewhere (cluthing at straws here ::))
Thanks once again
kindest regards

This is the link that oonagh suggested -

http://www.workhouses.org.uk/index.html?GlanfordBrigg/GlanfordBrigg.shtml

 - as you say, the 1900s but no 1850s :(
