On a family tree prepared by my late uncle, Helen Blair had the second name Hunter. So your second piece of infomation fits in too.

Hi I have Blairs in Greenock as well -  a Joseph Blair originally from Ireland

MY Joseph Blair was born 1835 Co Tyrone -  his parents were Thomas Blair and Agnes Wright
