Hi
Thank you all for your help.
The Thomas Brown that you have come up with, is Louisa Brown's Father. Unfortunately both Fathers where Thomas Brown. Herbert Brown was a lodger at 99 Stockton St. when he married Louisa.

Patrish
That's the correct Herbert & Louisa Brown, but what I really need is his Birth Cert. Thanks for the welcome. I am new here.

Again, many thanks.

This could be him, he appears on the 81 census though with father John and mother Elizabeth.

Herbert Brown, December quarter 1873 Walsall, Staffs 6b - 684

I am a bit confused here, you have  Herbert Brown with father Thomas Brown who married Louisa Brown who's father was also Thomas Brown, have I got this correct ??? ???

Hi Patrish
Yes...!!!!

Herbert Brown, Father Thomas Brown, Mother ?
Louisa Brown, Father Thomas Brown, Mother Mary J Dee

Yes....it's very confusing, when I got their Wed Cert I thought aye aye, what gives.
It's Herbert that am I interested in, I can't find anything on him except 1901 Census and Wed Cert. All I know he was born Stafford in 1873. I really want to find this side of my family and I come up against a brick wall.

Thanks

This is a real puzzler, the chances of a Brown marrying another Brown with the same fathers name must be quite remote, I wonder if there could be  a mistake on the marriage certificate  ???
