Hi

My wifes mother was born in the County Home, Enniscorthy in 1938, we will be down in the area next week, does anyone know where is Enniscorthy, the home is or have contact details for it.

Found details of Enniscorthy County Home on the following web site. http://users.ox.ac.uk/~peter/workhouse/Enniscorthy/Enniscorthy.html
Information includes details about the changing names for the County Home.
Address is St Johns Villas.
Some records for the County Home are held at the Parish House, St Aidens Cathedral, Enniscorthy.

Sorry no doubt you have been to Enniscorthy by now so the following may not be of use to you now. The County Home  is presently owned by HSE and is a know locally as St John Nursing Home
