Have been having a wonderful time with the OPR images at Scotlandspeople  :) but have spent a fortune  :o !!

I wonder if someone could point me in the right direction as to where I would find Sheriffton on the map of Perth please?  It seems that my 4 x great grandfather, George MATHER was a shepherd at Sheriffton, Perth (according to the baptism entry for his children in 1821).  I can't seem to find the place listed.

Log on to www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/getamap and enter the post-code PH2 6BG to see Sherriftown which is a farm in the parish of Scone, about 3 miles north-west of Perth.
