Ethel SHEPHERD help needed please
« on: Friday 09 February 07 11:23 GMT (UK) »
Hi rootschatters. I'm finally back after horrendous computer problems, but hoping someone can now help me find Ethel SHEPHERD on the 1901 census. I now have access to Ancestry, but just can't find her there. She was born 1899 Glanford, Brigg, and may have had siblings Maud and Nellie. Another sibling was born in 1904, also in Glanford, so it seems logical they would have been there in 1901 for the census.
I would greatly appreciate some help with this,
Regards,
Pauline

Hi Geoff.
I had found that  one too, but I believe all her family originated in Lincolnshire, and were involved in farming or possibly the sea. I'm waiting for a marriage certificate for her sister Doris, so hopefully that will throw a whole more light on the matter!! Its just that you get so impatient!!!
Thank you so much though.

Pauline

Just in the interests of accuracy - the address is Frodingham Footpath - I've walked it many a time.
