I agree, the last bit is definitely beer retailer, I think!

The first bit at the moment is indecipherable!

I'm clutching at straws here, I think, but on the basis that my suggestion '....and Beer Retailer' is correct, could the first word be 'Vintner'?

I'll work on the second word now.....

It's Frederick Forster age 32 living in Wittersham, Kent
1871 census  Class: RG10; Piece: 953; Folio: 116; Page: 2;

In 1888, on his daughter's marriage cert, he is described as 'licensed Victualer'  that is if it's the same person.

Could the first word be Painter or Printer ? The last word 'Detailer' ?
