Dear Rootschatters, Looking for Eliza MAUNDER born c1822 'ish.  All I know about her is that she married Dec Qtr 1846 at Stoke Damerel to groom: George John HARRIS who was christened 24 Mar 1822 Bere Ferris, the son of Francis HARRIS and Mary GREGORY.

Dear Cep, thanks for that.  I wonder if the widow Ann Maunder that you found was in fact the grandmother (well at least of the eldest son)?  I say this because of the large age gaps in the children, John's birth, then 15yrs later Henry, then 3yrs later Eliza.

Another thought, perhaps if the Dad was a Mariner it meant that literally he was a sailor and wasn't at home much....

Nathaniel Maunder (b1772) and Ann Revel (b1781) had the following children: most birth years are approximate: Stephen 1804, John 1806, Jsne 1808, Elizabeth 1810, May Ann 1813, William 1815-1822, Henry 1819, William 1822, Eliza 1824.  Eliza married George Jonathan Harris and had four children.
