Now I may be a bit a head of myself but i hope i have a lead here. With some kind help I MAY(not sure yet) have a lead on the DARBY dilema lolol.This is what I have found on the IGI and wondering if anyone can confirm this please.

THOMAS DARBY married PRUDENCE WILLIAMSON the 6 oct, 1706 scalford leics.

children:
1.THOMAS DARBY c 14 oct, 1711 scalford leics
2.ANN DARBY c 25 march 1716 same

Now it seems as though THOMAS DARBY who was c  14 oct, 1711 may be the one who married ALICE SMART the 14 oct, 1731 scalford.It sure ties in with the date.

CHILDREN:

1.ANN DARBY c 31 aug, 1732 scalford
2.THOMAS DERBY  c 4 nov, 1733  same
3.ALICE DERBY  c  23 feb, 1734  same
4.WILLIAM DARBY c  7 dec, 1737  same
5.ELIZ. DARBY c  sept  1740 same
6.ANN DERBY c 4 aug, 1745 , died  25 jan, 1748 same

Here is where I,m not sure
Could WILLIAM DARBY c 7 dec, 1737 be the one who married MARY BEAN the 4 dec, 1760 in branston??

Also  from what I saw on the net is that MELTON MOWBRAY is close to scalford, something to that effect.

Then after that I am hoping to try and see if THOMAS DARBY c  4 may  1766 is the one who married ANN WILD the 15 sept, 1782 barrow upon soar, who was the son of WILLIAM DARBY and MARY BEAN.

So what does anyone think???
