Death Lookup Thomas HENDERSON

From records kept by my mother, my grandfather Thomas HENDERSON, born 30th August 1864, died on the 22nd August,1942, at 6 Rendel Street, Elswick.

From BDM,s I have not been able to find a death that matches his age, so as to obtain the correct death certificate.

Any suggestions greatfully accepted.

September quarter 1942
Thomas Henderson age 59 Durham N.E. 10a 697

The age is only 1 year out - depending on who registered the death, he might still fit

MY maths isn't very good.......but surely if he was born in 1864 and died in 1942 he would have been 78 when he died

I have found some possibles, but as I previously indicated, none that match his time frame. Even in previous and preceding years.

It is possible that the informant  gave the wrong age/ d.o.b. at the time of registering the death.

Where would I look for burial records.

        I checked the Chronicle death notices from 22 Aug 1942 to 30 Aug 1942 but no sign of Thomas Henderson

Problem solved. Thomas died 1940 and not as first indicated.
