please can some kind soul tell me what this is suppose to say?  for the profession if I've got the right image

Put an 'apostrophe s'  in the occupation - I think it should read 'builder's carter' so he was in the transport line rather than the building trade.
All inhabitants of Axbridge, Somerset.
