Little Parliament St
« on: Monday 12 February 07 16:12 GMT (UK) »
Now that I know that the street exsisted please is there any way that I can discover who the occupants were in 1921? I'm not even sure if the cert. I've got is actually my Aunt's so I'm doing a bit of amateur detective work as a last resort. The writing on the cert. is very poor so that's not helping. Hoping I've made sense with this query.

The 1921 Hobson's Directory of Derby
lists for Little Parliment Street.
2. Kirby, Mrs Sarah. Provisions Dealer.
4. Watson, J, Labourer.
6. Taylor, Joseph, Electrition.
8. Gaskin, Richard, Brick Layer.
10. Winfield, T,W, Machine Hand.
12. Cresswell, Thomas, Shop Keeper.

their was a witness called Watson at the wedding maybe the Bride & Groom were lodging with Watson at No 4, their was no Hoole listed in Derby, and a couple of Hook families, i noticed the GRO index has the bride down as Hook, but their is a Annie Hoole marrying a Green in Shefield in the same quarter, what leads you to think your aunt Annie Hoole was in Derby
