Sussex Marriage look ups please

I would be most grateful for some marriage look ups for several siblings:

All born in Hailsham.  Children of Samuel and Elizabeth Miller

Ann Miller, born 31 May 1795.

John Miller born 9 July 1797

Samuel Miller born @ 1801 (not on parish records)

Mary Miller born 23 June 1805.

This is the only likely one for Samuel

Samuel MILLER m Eliza THORNCRAFT, botp (B)
 
There are 24 marriages for Mary/Mary Ann 1821-1839 (none apparently in Hailsham)
There are 12 for John 1815-1833 (none in Hailsham)
There are 27 for Ann/Hannah or combinations 1811-1839 (only 1 in Hailsham)

Unfortunately, the index doesn't always give details of parish of origin.  Are you able to narrow this down at all?

Will see what else I can think of to narrow down the search - however I am sure the Samuel Miller one is correct cos he lived in Arlington for a while.

Back to the Millers after a while.

Ann Miller: can't find out any more about her but could you give me the 1 Ann Miller marriage in Hailsham.

John Miller: ended up later in Lewes so could have married there or thereabouts (his brother married in South Malling and JOhn was the witness)

Mary Miller: this could be a Mary who lived in Ringmer in 1871 married to a Michell/Mitchell from Storrington - could you see if this matches up to any of the Marys.

Also I think there may be another brother Charles born @1808 Hailsham, he was in Westham in 1841 with a wife called Caroline.

Hi Alison,

This is not a perfect look-up I'm afraid - still too many potential "spanners in works".  The following may help you.  There are no Mary Millers marrying any Michell/Mitchell but you need to remember that the index only goes up to 1837 (1839 for a few places).  But the Charles looks a reasonable bet.
