I have checked the immigration records for 1925 - 1935 but could find nothing for him.

I also checked the Ellis Island records for New York, just in case he went through there, but again nothing.

Unfortunately, in order to receive an immigration record for years after 1935, you would need to know what year he immigrated. Information can be found here.

Another thing you could try, is Canada 411. There are quite a few "Wills" listed across Canada, but if you have any idea on where in Canada he went, it may be a little easier. There is only 1 "Thomas Wills" but 29 "T. Wills" and over 300 people listed with the surname of "Wills".

Hi Patricia,

Keep your eye on the site "Ancestors on Board". They are only up to 1909 so far, but are eventually going to have passenger records indexed up to 1960, by the year's end. These are the outgoing passenger records from Britain, and will be able to tell you where he went to. They are a pay per view site, but if you find him there, the list might tell you where he was planning on living. At least that way you can narrow your search to what province and possibly what city. Remember though, that some passengers travelled to the U.S. first, and then came up to Canada. Here is the link for Ancestors on Board.

http://www.ancestorsonboard.com/

After you have found the list, you will be able to narrow down your search on Canada 411.

Good Luck with your searching.

Your very welcome!

Never give up hope on finding him, as I found two ancestors that immigrated. I have also found living relatives for one of them living in Australia.
