« on: Monday 12 February 07 22:57 GMT (UK) »
Hi all

Is there a 1891 Canadian Census ? if there is  :)

Im looking for a Thomas Coupland b abt 1861 Kirkheaton Yorkshire and his wife Rebecca Ann(nee Smith) who went to Canada but Im not sure when.
They had 4 children Elizabeth 1886-William 1887-Thomas 1890 and John R 1893 all b Peel County.
Thomas and family are on the English 1901 but he has got a new wife Louisa who he married in England in 1894

There is a 1891 Census, I'm not sure if it's on-line anywhere, but I know the libraries have copies of them.  Next time I am at my library I can look them up for you, unless someone finds the info. beforehand.

Wow Karen you have been a busy bee...All this info is great
and I cant thank you enough.

Strange though regarding his 2nd marriage to Louisa Smith before Rebecca died...oh well will just have to dig a bit to get to the bottom of it.

I would also very much appreciate a look up from the library next time you go if its not too much trouble.

Thanks again
