Trying to find the place where John Divers /Married /Mary Docherty
in and about the 1830 i think. It says they were born in Ireland
but nothing else. So i think it would be Donegal they came from.
Is this a hopeless search?
 The Divers and Docherty spelling of the name was on their sons
Marriage Cert.another John Divers  to my Grandmother in Scotland.1914 No  birth cert for the son in Scotland  that i could find. So i assumed he was born in Ireland as well.

this i found on irish genealogy. john diver m. mary doherty 1879. this is only an index and does not say where the marriage took place.done igi parent search came up with these dont know if they mean anything to you.niel diver born 13-3-1876. donegal. patrick diver born 14-3-1879 letterhillue ,donegal parents john diver and mary doherty.
