Hi Newfy,

Thanks for that its very helpful. It looks like it may be the a relation of my GGG Grandfather William who was also a boatman and Captain in Chester, whatever that means. I don't know if it would be a small boat or barge.

William was born about 1806/9 I thought there just might be a long shot of a father or mother still living with someone. I am having problems getting back to his birth and his father and mother.
