Wennington - Darlington - any census ?

Researching Wennington, George born around 1830 in St Giles London, he is not listed in the 1851 london census, so presume the family moved to Darlington area before then ? Any information would be appreciated.

I have the 1851 census index for Darlington (Holy Trinity) There is only one Wennington listed.

Have you checked the 1881 census as there are a number of Wennington's in Durham at that time. If not try www.familysearch.org

Many thanks John, not sure where this takes me, will have to ponder for a while, as it is not clear in any of the info that I have, who George's parents were, I have written to the London registry office, but they were unable to trace his birth, so will have to keep looking.
