As you can see I attached a photo of my gran to my profile.  How do I remove it and shrink it?

I've resized it for you.
You can attach it to your profile the same way you did with the bigger one, & this one should replace it.

Just remember to give the "new" avatar file a different name as the number of images on Rootschat often means that the easier names are already taken and the system will not allow images with the same file name to be uploaded.
