Levi Cockerton born abt 1824 South England.
Deserted HMS Fantome in 1853 Australia

COCKERTON, Levi   HMS Fantome   11 Nov 1853 P2028   g.r. cook, 5’8”, light brown hair, blue eyes.

Can anyone post any clues to look for further information . Was he in the Royal Navy ? Any records likely ?
