Looking for any information on following familys. William John Young born in Ireland about 1850 parents Andrew Young/ Sarah Smith. Moved to Ayrshire  in Scotland Between 1850/1868 when he married Elizabeth Scullion. Also James Scullion married to Margaret Brown in 1844/1845 County Antrim,Ireland then moved to Ayrshire, Scotland about 1848. Also James Hendrie married to Marion Wood, March 1851. They were born in Ayr about 1823/1825. I have most of the births for children to these parents but need to find more information of the background of the parents such as were exactly in Ireland did they come from and who James Hendries parents were.

Hi, I have a Great G mother Sally Henry who married John Gillespie, only children so far is Ann, John, Helen & Hugh, most moved to Scotland Lanarkshire areas.  Sally's sister was Hannah Henry who married a John Black, they lived in Gartsherrie, Lanarkshire, but one of their sons, lived in Ayrshire according to her death in 1901.   Do you think there is any connection, Thanks, Annie

Hi Anste,
I don,t have any of your names at the moment. Here,s what i have found out about my family since the last posting. On James death certificate it said his parents were Peter Hendry & Mary Monaghan. On a 1841 Cenus i found a Peter & Mary Henry 58/48yrs with a James 16 & a Charles 4. It said Peter came from Ireland. If this is my family i would have thought there would have been more children..So perhaps there were older children who had moved away or some that died. Also information  on Charles certificate it said his mother last name was spelt different to the one on James. so i don, t know yet whether there,s any connection to yours, it would be nice to actually find somebody doing the same family tree.
