1871/1891 - Lookup please

Looking for the household details of a William Henry Vellis (or Villis) b.~1864 in Somerset who is on the 1901 with "reportedly" wife Margaret b1867 - see RG13/5006 F/12 P/15 - can someone confirm this please?

However I'm confused (OK OK not difficult I know) as reportedly the wife's name in earlier censi was Mary Hannah (nee Elms) - and I did find a marriage on FreeBMD - Q2 1884 Pontypridd 11a 566 - I also it's reported that she didn't die until ~1971 !


So as well as household details - I'm hoping to clear up the wife's name confusion...

Hi,
There are two possible entries for a William Vellis which might be the source of the confusion in 1901.

1. William Vellis b 1867, Bridgwater Somerset,
spouse Ellen.  Residence.  Bridgwater

2. William Hy Vellis b 1864 Stowra Somerset England
wife Marg't.  (age 34)  Residence. Mountain Ash Glamorgan.
Children Albert J., Edward, Francis J., Mary H., Rosina, William F.,

In 1891, RG12/1884 folio 19 p31
William Vellis, age 27, Lodger, born Bridgwater Somerset,
General Labourer, Employed.
Residence :  Bridgwater. The writing is very feint - South Street, Cottage
he is lodging with Cordelia Billings, although Ancestry gives her name as Cordelia Taylor ! It clearly says Billings on the image, the family above are the Taylor's.
No wife.

off to look for any more..

sorry, having problems finding the family in 1891, William is listed on 1901 as age 15, and Francis as 11, tried looking for them, but not finding yet.
have to go now but will check back later,

there are a couple more who died who might be theirs, but I can't a registration for Francis J aged 11 in 1901

I think I found it - FreeBMD Q3 1889  Bridgwater  5c 348

Looks like she may have had Francis whilst visiting the in-laws?

That's a sneaky move - registering your baby when you're visiting relatives!  I hadn't thought to look further than Pontypridd registration district as I'm sure that it says born Mountain Ash on the 1901 - is there another one in Somerset ?
