Hi Rootchatters,

I would like to hear your input on which parentage is more likely to be my great-grandmother's so I can try and find her birth entry in Dublin, Ireland.

I think the poll would be a good way to get your input on this one.

Here are the links if you need to know a bit more about this topic: http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,214059.0.html

Appreciate your taking time out to "vote" on my great-grandmother's parentage.  ;D

Thanks,

Tees

Hi Fellow Rootschatters!

So far I got four votes--three votes are for the parentage on her marriage cert and one vote is for her maiden name listed on her husband's death cert.

I will give this poll a bit of time before I could decide which parentage I should go with when searching for her birth entry.

Thank you for taking time to read this post and give me your thoughts on this matter!

Gratefully yours,

Tees

I have gone with the marriage Cert as your Great grandmother would have given this information herself.

Carol

Hi Carol,

I would have to agree with you on that point--the polling has been helpful so far to this point.

My Great-Granny was an informant on two certs-her marriage cert and her husband's death cert. I think it is a bit strange that I have three different surnames to content with!

Will start a research on this branch very soon.

Appreciate your input along with other votes! Thank you for taking time to give me something to ponder on!  ;D

Kind regards,

Tees
