looking for 1st marriage of Ellen Alma Tuxford to  Burrows

My ancestor Charles Reeve m Ellen Tuxford Burrows FreeBMD 1875 Q4 7a 1098

[I have Ellen b Boston.Lincs  abt 1855 to James E Tuxford & Mary ]
 
Have not rec'd birth cert yet, for the daughter, Annie Eleanor Olga Reeve to db check names,

I can see her in 1861, with parents, then in 1871 when she would be abt 16 I can't see her.......thinking she may have married first very very young....I han't see her sister Mapala either in 1871.. 

Don't know if you are aware of a TUXFORD researcher who has posted a lot of TUXFORD queries on Rootsweb including on your line : he says:

ANd browse the lists for "TUXFORD LINCOLNSHIRE" or more specific ""TUXFORD TOMLIN LINCOLNSHIRE", the whole lot will pop up - maybe this person is still around at that email address and would know more by now? He may be doing a one name study, or else all the Lincs TUXFORDS are his?

Something just didn't feel right -  I know stranger things have happened but born 1855 and into a second marriage by close of 1875...just didn't sit, somehow and:

There are two serparate Ellen's!    

1) Ellen Tuxford BURROWS b Mar Qtr 1855, Lincoln
2) Ellen Alma TUXFORD b Dec Qtr 1855 Boston

so yours is not the dau of James Edward TUXFORD and Mary TOMLIN - though they may be related!

So that problem is solved - in as much as yours was (probably!) not married once before she married Charles REEVE.

Will have look for her in Census pre 1875...

So did I!

Mr BURROWS died before 1851 and her mother seems to have lived with Mr TUXFORD for a while.

me leaving Reeve / Tuxford side to do another family member til I can get my head straight.

So much for beginner getting to grips with researching family tree !!!
