Northland/Auckland Marriages Request (Completed)

Hi

I am looking for the marriage of Athol Fenwick POOLE, my guess is in Auckland sometime after 1935 when he would have been 21.

Also, my direct line includes the Stallworthy family who were in Auckland in the 1870s, then moved up to Aratapu near Dargarville in the 1880s. It is a sufficiently unusual name that any Stallworthy marriage in the early 20th century is more than likely to be one of my great aunts & uncles. I know nothing about most of them, but the names I have are:

Good Lord! Look at all the Wordsworths in that lot! I have a vague memory of being introduced to a Wordsworth years ago but I thought he was an old family friend - never realised he was related!

Aaaahhhh!  But if you look here http://mawhite.orcon.net.nz/Aratapu.html you will get to read all about Aratapu as it was way back then and play 'find the Stallworthy' in all the text.  Look hard and you will find some wee gems for you to work on.
