Hi Sarra

I can't even get into Ancestry at present. They seem to be having another mess about. It's getting to be a regular problem. Hopefully they will restore access within a couple a days. :(

I haven't been able to access Ancestry for the past two days.

Hopefully the problem, whatever it may be, will be fixed soon. Seems like Ancestry "acts up" every couple of days now. VERY frustrating.  :(  :(

I wonder if it is the same problem as some of us have been having with Rootschat, just too popular and gets too busy at certain times.

It's working today for me!

Kerry -

You are probably right about the popularity of ancestry and Rootschat. However, I don't seem to have the same type of problem with Rootschat.

I was finally able to "enter" ancestry earlier today. Unfortunately I was knocked off and haven't been able to "re enter". Frustrating to say the least .... especially when I am ready to conduct some serious research.

I have not had any problems getting in to Ancestry (nor Rootschat) in the past two weeks.  And (sad I know) have visited every day.  That is  logged on, not logged on and via FTM online searches.  I DO have to right click and refresh the page when I go there via FTM or through any hyperlink - it just flickers until I do that.

I am on broadband via zen.co.uk as my ISP.

Boo Hoo,
I'm so frustrated with Ancestry - I did have access to my Tree last Friday, have been trying since Saturday to gain access again without any luck.
I can  access the Census OK - so that means I am logged in. Just as well because I cannot see the Login page.
I thought I would send them an email - I went to my Profile and typed my Email address and password.  It tells me I am not registered or whatever the message says. I have had messages coming to this email address from them.
Could some kind person give me some advice as to what I can do.
Thanks
Sarra
