In 1901 they were in East Boston and Charles was previously a seafarer.

I found them in 1920.  They were in Fall River, Mass.  The street address looks like 160 Rock Street.  The home was rented.

Charles was listed as 41 years old, born in Mass., his father born in England, his mother born in Wales.  He was a minister.

Mary was 37 years old, born in Maryland, as were her parents.

Nancy was 9 and in school.

There were two other daughters - Mary (middle initial R?), age 4 and able to read and write, and Frances, age 3.  Both were born in Massachusetts.

They also had a nurse and a maid living with them - Lena Wightman and Merry J. Cornell were the names.

In 1930, they were in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  The address is 28 Prospect.  The home was rented for $200 a month.  They owned a radio.

Charles was 50 years old and age 30 at the time of his first marriage.  He was born in Mass., his father was listed as being born in Nova Scotia, Canada, and his mother was born in Wales.  He was a clergyman for an Episcopal church.  He was a veteran of WWI.

Mary W. was 47 years old, and 26 at the time of her first marriage.  She and her parents were born in MD.

Nancy S. was 20 and single.  She attended school or college since 9/1/19. No occupation.

Mary T. was 15 and in school.

Frances T. was 13 and in school.

All of the daughters were listed as born in Mass.

There were a cook and a servant there, both named William Smith.
