Caley/ Birch
« on: Sunday 18 March 07 22:30 GMT (UK) »
Looking for any information on James Caley born about 1846, Married to Lucy Birch on the 24,dec,1876. I know James father was also called James but i don,t know his mothers name. I think his father was born  in Broughton about 1824, And his father was called William born about 1801 and he was married to Elizabeth Pitt, I know about the Pitt side of the family from the IGI. Also i am after information of his wife Lucy Birch born about 1852, Her father was called William. Don,t know her mothers name but i believe she had a brother called William George Birch and both families may have come from the Kidderminster area. I have no cenus or any other information on the families.

Got called away suddenly -back now looking!
Presume you have 1881
South St Wines? Buildings
St George Worcesters
James Caley 34 Warehouse Porter Ripple
Lucy 28 Martley
Jane 3 Kidderminster
James 1 Kidderminster
RG11 2901 64 54

Through the p.o.b. given on 1881 is why I thought the 1861 seemed a good candidate for Lucy

Hi Suz,
Is there any chance of you being able to find a Joseph Caley , his wife may have been Elizabeth in the 1841 census. They maybe in their sixties .
