My lap top has been stuttering recently and my AOL Isp has been throwing some odd errors.
I did all the defrags,CHKDSK etc. and decided to re- install Aol. Followed the instructions for uninstall and save files etc.
Re installed and horror!! Nothing bookmarked and blank PFC.
Got help from AOL which proved useless(First time admittedly).
Spent time trying to remember bookmarked sites ,searched Rootschat and spotted a couple of sites which I had passed on.
Tonight was browsing through some of my Notepad entries and spotted "Web sites" and in an idle moment I had saved every Book marked site! Also they are all saved on my external Hard disc....Senility has some compensations ...so nice when you find something forgotten!!!
Tomorrow is another day ..comp. genius is coming fix all,but SAVE Save Save
