Marriage in Deal COMPLETED THANK YOU

I'm looking for the marriage details of John Meers and wife Jane.  Can't be too sure of the exact year but would suspect around 1800.  Their daughter Sarah Meers was born in 1805 and married David Bailey Axon in 1823.  The main reason for my interest is another thread on the Kent board and the name Pittock.  Sarah and David named on of their son's James Pittock Axon (born 1837) and I would like to know where the Pittock name comes from.  I'm wondering whether this could be Jane's maiden name?  However, this particular family do have a liking for unusual middle names including Farrell, Synott and English so I suppose her maiden name could also have been one of these!
Any help would be very much appreciated.

I think I was modifying my post whilst you were replying!  After posting I managed to find them in the Canterbury Marriage licences in Ancestry.  I was right, Jane's maiden name was Pittock - just need to find out where the other names come from now.
