Hello Pat,

I notice that there's a note on the site which says that if anyone has an item, or items, that they would like to contribute to the site, be it transcripts, data, pictures etc.,  email: 4theloveoftyroneATgmail.com. Although research can not be done for you, the "theloveoftyrone" is available for questions of a general nature and always available for your comments.

If anyone wishes to contribute to the Co. Tyrone site and intends to send an e-mail don't forget to substitute @ for AT.

Dear Christopher

Thank you for that. I wish! I roam around trying to find any links for all my ancestors born in " Ireland "

I tend to look at free resources first and it is surprising how many there are to begin initial research, if you are lucky to find a matched pair, that is.

Thank you again,
Kind regards,
Pat

We have a brand new project and it is the County Tyrone Gravestone Photo and Transcription Project! I would like to invite you to join with us.  :)

The mission of this project is to capture digital images of gravestones of our ancestors. As decades pass -- many stones are becoming harder, if not impossible, to read the inscriptions they originally contained.

By archiving the images, we can help save these important records and also assist researchers using this valuable resource.

If you have a photo of a gravestone, for someone born in Tyrone, but buried anywhere in the world... please visit, and consider uploading your record. Even if you do not have a photo, but you have a transcription, you may still post your valuable information, there is a link on the site to post a default image..  if you don't have one.

Please visit us at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~cotyroneireland/index.html

and click on the Gravestone Banner

(Note- there are many more updated items on our site)
