Did you recognise the quote from the song?
In my mother's case it could be true! According to family memories my GGrandfather, David Thomas Salathiel b c1871 in Glam Ystrad, worked for Lloyd George. I don't know in what capacity and would like to know where I could look in order to  find relevant records to prove that this info is true and not not just a family myth!!!!

I haven't managed to read through all the info yet but was struck by the fact that his (LGs) daughter was called Olwen and that is my mother's name! Coincidence-I really don't know?
