Looking for Grice's in Lincs

Im looking for Grice family members i have managed to get back to a Thomas Grice born abt 1825 and was born in Sewstern Leicestershire and he married a Eliza who was born abt 1828 in Great Ponton Lincs. Together they ( well thats what i have so far!!) have 8 children. Im wanting to get any more info to get me further back if anyone can help.

this might be what you want as Sewstern is a township in Buckminster.

No thats not going to work unless you put in Thomas Grice 1824. the info is there.

Think it must be just me being a starter at this buisness or im having more senior moments now......as i have come up with nothing but will keep searching on this site.

Click on the link I gave you above and then put in Thomas Grice 1824 plus or minus 2 years. Go down to the British Isles section and he is there.

Hi, on the IGI there are quite a few Grices listed for Buckminster, including a christening for Thomas Grice 28 SEP 1824   Buckminster, Leicester, England, father John Grice, mother Mary.

I have traced some of my relatives back to Sewstern / Buckminster.  There is a church in Sewstern, but no graveyard, all burials are at Buckminster church (don't know if this helps or not).

Don't know if you are interested or not, but I have photographs of both Sewstern and Buckminster churches (I took these when I visited to take photos of family gravestones).
