I was at the records office today and came across a marriage for Thompson Robert otp
Rutherford  Elizabeth  otp
I meant to ask before I left  but forgot  to much in a rush to catch the metro <G>

Can someone  tell me what "opt" means please  :-[

But so confusing when you don't! :)
You may also come across spotp, botp and wotp  - spinster, bachelor and widow/widower of this parish respectively.
