I have had no probs with the new tree! I also like that it now shows a little icon when you click on a name to tell you how many times that name appears in each of the census.   :) I also use my Hot matches and have been very successful with them.

Just a wonder??

I wonder what happens to your tree if you don't re subscribe and you don't take your tree off??

Kerry

I think it just stays there. If I don't remove it, knowing my luck, someone interesting will contact me just after my sub. finishes ;D

Ahhh yes! how crafty is that, click on that little icon and then on the census that person appears in and you are invited to buy a fivers worth of credits to view the original  ::)
Does anyone know how many credits are used per lookup?

I have been trying to check some information in a tree today and each time I click on the name I want I get taken to the pages that I would get if I had done a general name search :-\ if I hit the back button I'm getting my contacts page  :-\ so goodness knows whats going on.........

Your tree stays on the site after you stop subscribing if you don't remember to remove it first-
I'm sure that's one of the reasons people ask  'why don't people I contacted answer e.mails?' answer is they can't, if they are not subscribing they no longer receive messages but their names are still in the system.

The last two contacts have had to re-direct me to another site to view their Tree's.

My PC crashes or I just get a blank screen with some of the Tree's on GR....glad it's just not me ;)

How do you have your own tree and someone elses open at the same time. I used to be able to do it with the old tree system, but now can't seem to get it to work.
Tried opening link in new window, but no go, any ideas.

It is possible to move back and forwards, from a Tree to your own perhaps, but it doesn't go to the names you were looking at!

I used to be able to do that also, but I cannot do it anymore, so I assume something has been changed to stop us.

My PC also freezes when looking at some peoples trees.  I think it happens mainly on the larger trees, being more memory hungry.  It was OK on the old tree version, but the new version does more things, and therefore is more memory hungry, and therefore messes up more often.

I will not be renewing either.  If you do not renew, you still get messages from people, but cannot reply to them unless you RENEW your membership!

I let my membership drop for about a year, but eventually renewed just so I could reply to a very interesting match.  It was of course a waste of time though !!!
