The elusive Bamfords of Tipton staffs
« on: Monday 29 November 04 19:04 GMT (UK) »
I am just starting off on my search for distant relatives, its become very important to my Mum.  I don't have much to go on though.
I am looking for any information about Esther Bamford (it later appeared as Banford. She was born in 1864 in Tipton Staffordshire.  Her mother was Elizabeth Bamford with an address given on Aston St at the time of Esthers birth , no known father except we heard he was a Doctor. She married on 7 june 1884 to William Johnson in Middlewich, when she was given away by Henry Bamford. We are also interested in him. If anyone can open the door to a past even a chink my mother will be thrilled.

When you offered to send a copy you asked for a pm what does that mean?

Hi

This is a Banford family from 1861 living in Tipton. "around the corner" from Aston St - I can't make out the street name (RG9/2044/47B). it's probably the same family that megabelly found in 1851, this time with a lot more children...

It was really kind to put the documents up and yes this is my great grandmother in 1901.  Until now, noone in the family has found out anything about her early life.
