« on: Wednesday 04 April 07 15:12 BST (UK) »
Hiyall

I am trying to find the whereabouts of Edward Tivey born abt 1835 In Sheepshed (Shepshed) Leics

His family - according to another reasearcher is as follows
Father WILLIAM TIVEY                      b. 1793?                       d. 28.1.1845 Shepshed
Framework Knitter (according to marriage)
Mother ELIZABETH HEATHERLEY   b. about 1792 Newcastle on Tyne    d.1872 in the Shardlow district   m.28.8.1816 Ashby de la Zouch

Children

William born 1817 Shepshed  unmarried died  1860 Shepshed
Thomas  1821  Shepshed married Sarah Grimley in 1842  Shepshed died  1860 Shepshed
Charles born  1826/7 Shepshed m Ann Thompson  1849 Nottingham died 1909  Shepshed
Henry 1828 Shepshed m Tamar Adkin 1848 Loughborough died 1905 Carlton
Jane 1830 Shepshed  unmarried died  1852 Shepshed
Edward 1835 Shepshed Deatlor Marion Taylor 1864 USA 1901 Lynn USA
Mary Ann 1837 Shepshed 1.John Whittaker 1856 Shepshed   n. k.
Sidney born n.k. ? Shepshed   died    1841 Loughborough

I have found Elizabeth in Pick  Street Sheepshed (Shepshed) with her eldest son William aged 20.

I have found her husband William in the Loughborough District Workhouse  HO107/595/11 Folio 11 Page 6   with some of  the other Children
Charles 10, Jane 10, and Mary Ann 3.  There is also a Henry Tivey aged 5 on the same page (but should be abt 13 if researcher is correct) So (bearing in mind this could Henry) that leaves Edward who should be about 5 or 6.

He is with his widowed mother in Shedshed in 1851 aged 16 , then he emigrated to the states between 1851 and 1861

So can someone help me find Edward in 1841?

Many Thanks
Jan ;D
