HOW ABOUT A WELSH ROOTSCHAT MEET?

On Saturday, at Dudley, Kazza and I discussed the possibility of a "regional" meet for us Welshies.

We could have this in the New Year sometime in say Cardiff or Swansea or .... .

Anyway, lets hear what you think - Good and Bad.

Well now you know what I am going to say! ~ Yes!
I will need adequate notice. I am in West Glamorgan, would prefer something in my region, but I am prepared to travel.

The north of Wales may be too far for me though

I'm a bit new here but wouldn't mind a meeting - I live in Newport Gwent.

In the spirit of Devolution, I'm in full agreement.

Cardiff is excellent, never been to Swansea, so I can't comment. But Cardiff is at least a  4-5 hour drive from my parents and Swansea probably even more.

As most of my research is based in the North, and my parents still live there AND if I'm flying in anyway, I'd like to pledge for a more northern freindly venue.

Or a compromise. How about Aber? There's the National Library there as well. And easier for me to reach from B'ham international.

Can't promise anything as I'll have to fit it in with work and family anyway, but let me know in good time and I'll do my best.

I am very keen on the idea. 

I am in mid-wales so anywhere is easy enough for me with adequate notice to make arrangements.
